A useful career strategy identifies the role you want, the evidence that supports it and the gaps you need to address. For Brazil, begin with a small set of relevant vacancies rather than rewriting documents before choosing a direction.
Define your Brazil target
Separate Brazil-based multinational opportunities from overseas and remote applications. Compare working-language, location and role requirements in each group. Decide which evidence supports the strongest primary direction before adapting documents.

Compare scope, not just titles

A commercial manager could explain a planning problem, the analysis and decisions they owned and the verified business outcome, making the context understandable without assuming knowledge of the local employer.
For each example, note the situation, your decisions, the people involved and the outcome. Keep a version that protects confidential details. These notes can support your CV, LinkedIn profile, cover letters and interview preparation without making the documents identical.
A practical four-part review
- Target: are the vacancies aligned with your skills and level?
- Evidence: can you demonstrate the recurring requirements?
- Application: are documents and responses specific and accurate?
- Feedback: what are recruiter conversations and interviews telling you?
Prepare for a strategy consultation
Bring your current document, a few target vacancies and the questions you are trying to resolve. Include the constraints that matter to you, such as location, working arrangement, time frame and responsibilities. This lets the discussion focus on decisions rather than a general introduction to your career.
