For a Qatar application, specify the discipline and context behind your experience. Energy, facilities and hospitality employers need different evidence. A general Gulf CV can miss the responsibilities of the actual role you are pursuing.

Explain whether you worked for a client, contractor or service provider, where disclosure is permitted. Distinguish construction, commissioning, maintenance and ongoing operations. This gives the reader a clearer picture than a list of project names alone.

Check the format before writing

List training, qualifications and availability accurately. Check the employer's requirements before adding photos or personal status information. Never imply a local licence, approval or authorisation that you do not hold.

Use conventional section headings and selectable text. Keep the reading order straightforward, and check that contact details survive a plain-text copy of the file. Submit the file type the employer requests. There is no universal ATS score or layout that guarantees shortlisting.

Turn a duty into useful evidence

A facilities candidate can describe the assets supported, the maintenance coordination challenge and the verified service result.

For each important claim, record the context, your own action and a result you can explain. When a numerical result is unavailable, use a concrete outcome such as a completed implementation, a resolved issue or an approved process. The purpose is accuracy and relevance, not a number in every sentence.
